Midlands got into gear and scored through a good try to Aaron Kumara, then another to Brian Anderson, who backed up well to score his try, abeit nearly tripping up close to the line, Kumara converted to make it 12 nil. Daniel Pinn, Jack McQuire and Tom Fleming all added to the scoreline through tries, and Kumara added another conversion and a penalty, to make the final score 27 to nil. The team played well in the conditions, which were shocking, their work on defense was great and there ability on attack was strong, considering the conditions. Damien Pulley had another strong game, along with Mitch Johnston, and Brian Anderson, in the backs, Kumara, Jack McQuire and Wells at fullback all played well. So on to the next game Marist.
