Star shines at Centennial Park

be a matter of time when some points came. It didn't happen that way, Midlands were attacking the line, when they through a 50/50 pass, and Greg Saunders took the pass and raced the 70 metres to score, which was converted. Not long after that the same thing happened again and Star raced out to a 14 points to 5 lead. The 5 points for Midlands, came, courtesy of a good try to Brian Anderson. In the secong half Star raced out to a 23 points to 5 lead, through some well taken tries, and some solid goal kicking from Pale Tuilagi. Midlands still had plenty of time on the clock to stage a comeback, they scored two well executed tries, through Tom Fleming and Daniel Pinn, strangely Aaron Kumara's radar was off a little, although a couple did strike the posts. But they ran out of time, and had to settle for the loss 23 to 17,although they get a bonus point, it will put them back in fourth position. It seemed that Midlands had a territorial advantage throughout the game, but with costly mistakes in Stars half, lead to there downfall. Brian Anderson, Daniel Pinn, and Blake Fairbairn had strong games for Midlands, along with Ray Hemi and Damien Pulley.
