vote on their favourite performance, which wasn't easy, because their were alot of good performances throughout the night. Crowd favourites were the Village People, performed by Dayna Cunningham, Mark Wells, Tom Fleming,and Tony Dodunski, and Don McLean played by Mitch Sim,who actuallly sung and played the electric guitar himself. The Wiggles brought cheers from the crowd, they were performed by Blair Vining, Michael Cunningham, David Wheeley, and Keiran Henshaw. Johnny Cash,played by Grant Jardine,was another one who brought cheers from the crowd, he really did sing well.Other Performances were Queen played by Mathew Whyte,Dragon played by Vinnie Cruickshanks, Bon Jo Vi played by Ben McHugh, Aretha Franklin played by Billy Christie,Tina Turner played by Brian Anderson, Choir Boy played by Mathew Price, Jackson Five performed by James McLean,Blake Fairbairn,Josh McAtamney, Willy Umu and Lane Cuthbert. ACDC performed by Mathew Whyte,Brenton Howden, Scott Cochrane, Tyler Johnston and Jono Whyte. Steve Earl played by Ryan Shaw. Bruce Springston played by Damien Pulley. Neil Young played by Peter Thompson. John (Chubb) McHugh was the MC for the night and done a tremendous job running the show. The held an auction at halftime to raise some money, and by all reports, it was tremendously successful. The show finished around 10:30 pm, and when the votes were counted, it was announced that Mitch Sim, who played Don McLean was the winner, with the runnersup being the Village People who were Dayna Cunningham, Mark Wells,Tony Dodunski and Tom Fleming. It was a fanastic night at the clubrooms, and it would'nt have been possible, without the help and organising of Melissa Vining, and the ladies that helped her run the event.
