a hat trick of tries. By the end of the game they had beaten Woodlands by 44 to 22. Tim Boys, Scott Cowan, Willy Umu all dotted down, with Aaron Kumara kicking a penalty and 3 conversions. Talking to the coach Mike Cunningham after the game, he said that the forwards laid the platform for the win, with a faultless display of forward rugby, blowing out rucks, and great driving play. Ray Hemi had probably his best game for Midlands, along with Tom Fleming, Ben McHugh, Brendan Mitchell, and Tim Boys. In the backs, James McLean at firstfive had a great game, directing play well, and Aaron Kumara played his usual sound game at secondfive. Mark Wells at fullback, used his kicking game to great effect, keeping the Woodlands players on the back foot all day. They let the foot off the pedal in the second half a little bit, when they subsituted players, and let Woodlands claw back some points, but overall a great performance by the team. So its on to Blues next week for another important game, which i heard might be played at Rugby Park. See ya there
