Middle Pub Midlands Lands Big Scalp

night, they went down with an air of confidence. It didn't start to good, with Star racing out to a 10 points to nil lead early in the first half, then a penalty to Aaron Kumara and a drop goal to Daniel Pinn brought it back to 10 points to 6. Getting close to half time Star moved out to 24 points to 10, then a good try to Tom Fleming, which was convertd by Kumara, brought it back to 24 points to 13 at half time, first half to Star. Second half, it was all Midlands, with Aaron Kumara scoring a great try from 30 metres out, which he converted, making it 24 points to 20, then it was game on. Three minutes out and with time running out, Midlands were desperate for points, they spun it wide from about 50 metres out, and on the end of the line was Midlands, Highlander and Stags player Tim Boyes, who ran 30 metres to score. Aaron Kumara added the iceing on the cake, by slotting the sideline conversion, final score MIDLANDS 27, Star 24. !!YAHOO!! Tom Fleming, Billy Christie and Damien Pulley had stong games for Midlands in the forwards and when Tim Boyes came on in the second half, he played with the high class that we expect from him. And in the backs nobody stood out better than Aaron Kumara (If he's not in Stags contention, i dont know who will be) with Tony Dodunskie, Josh McAtamney(They tell me he's got the famous Deans blood in his ancestry) and Mark Wells at full back all having good games.
