Nipped at the Post

into everything with passion and pride,it resulted in a try to Daniel Pinn, which was converted by Aaron Kumara. Then by halftime they were leading by 10 points, courtesy of a penalty to Kumara. In the second half the two kickers for both teams had chances to increase the lead for their respective teams, but both kickers missed numerous chances. Star came back with a try to their new import, winger,James Patterson, and then with about fifteen minutes to go,Bekhuis scored wide out, up stepped Tuilagi (who missed about seven shots at goal previously),slotted it from the sideline, making the final score 12---10.There was a little hint of controversy near the end, when the tv announcer who was calling the game, thought the referee blew the game up, five minutes early. But thats here nor there, the result stands, and Midlands will now have to wait till next year to gain the Galbraith Sheild.

I can't really pick anyone player that played well, because the whole team played their hearts out, right from Jarod Collie at hooker to Mark Wells at fullback, and the replacements that came on.So its up and onwards to next year folks. Lets not forget that the Prem B guys are still up there near the top,so lets start supporting them now.
